How to make pumpkin donuts?

Pumpkin Donuts

Baked Pumpkin Donuts with Maple-Cinnamon Glaze

Makes 6
Ingredients:
– 115 gram self-raising flour
– 115 gram canned pumpkin purée
– 50 gram butter, softened
– 10 gram butter, for greasing
– 50 gram soft light brown sugar
– 1 large egg, beaten
– 1 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 tbsp milk
– ½ tsp baking powder
– ½ tsp salt
– ¼ tsp grated nutmeg
For Glaze
– 115 gram icing sugar
– 2 tbsp milk
– 1-2 tsp maple syrup
– ½ ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C. Grease a 6-hole donut tin.
Step 2: Sift together the flour and baking powder into a bowl and stir in the salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Put the sugar and butter into a separate bowl and beat together until pale and creamy. Gradually beat in the egg, vanilla extract and milk. Fold in the flour mixture and pumpkin purée.
Step 3: Spoon the mixture into a large piping bag fitted with a plain nozzle and pipe into the prepared tin. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, until risen, golden and just firm to the touch. Leave to cool for 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 4: To make the glaze, sift together the icing sugar and cinnamon into a bowl, add the milk and maple syrup and stir until smooth. Dip the top of each donut in the glaze and leave to set.
